This song attributes to my first and only boy band obsession; Take That, and the resulting boy band member crush. Though I couldn’t tell you now if my life depended on it which one of the boy band members got the honors of my crush. Maybe it was Timmy, or Bobby, or Tommy, or Robby, or Dasher, or Donner, or Vixen?
It took me some convincing myself to actually like a boy band, as the commercialism behind the whole concept just drove me bonkers. But you know, Love conquers all, and love is blind. God, listening to this song shows that love is also very, very deaf. I used to think this song was written and sang by angels.
